Roses in the garden.

This was the first painting I painted last April. The roses are from the garden and were in a vase on the garden table overflowing with abundance. They called to me, I felt compelled to reproduce them. I did a light sketch and then dug out a few old paintbrushes and paints and commenced the canvas. The feeling was so electrifying. I had forgotten how good it felt to paint.
And so the story began!
